I received the guitar and again thanks for all your help.

I received my custom made les paul and would like to make the following points. I have had several Les Paul’s (around 12) Gibson and Epiphone but will compare this one from you to the Gibson. I have had Gibson LP studios, standards, A limited edition standard and my favourite the Gibson les paul GT.

The fingerboard on the Ellis is the best I have ever played on any of my Les Paul’s and the attention to detail and comfort are truly second to none. The neck construction and set up are perfect and better than the previously best fretboard I have played being my 2005 Gibson les paul standard (limited edition) The woods are exquisite and when I have not been playing it I have been staring at it and can’t fully list here the sheer feel of this instrument, it truly beats my best les Pauls hands down and I am so glad I decided to go with the decision to have it made.

Tone wise it is on a par with my Gibson les Paul GT although a little more vintage the response to harmonics and bends in the higher region are again as good as the best Les Pauls I have played or owned.

I will have no problems in recommending anyone who wishes to buy a Gibson to think again and try your instruments which for the price of my les paul studio is better than my les paul GT which was by far the best Gibson I owned and paid £1800 for.

This is not only my opinion but that of ALL of my friends who have played it and I can’t overstate enough how good this instrument feels and plays not to mention the absolute uniqueness and beauty of it. As you say Tim a unique voice in a sea of clones, well in my opinion a unique and superior voice in a sea of Gibson's.

Hi mate. I just wanted to email you and thank you so much for the guitar. Its absolutely amazing. I used it for a gig the first day I had it and it impressed me beyond belief. It sounded and played amazing, and everybody said how good it looked. People asked me questions about it all night. Also the Italian band I played with couldn't believe it either, they even took photos of it, so there is photos of your guitar circulating Italy somewhere ha.

Once again thank you very much, I have no idea how you manage to make guitars of that quality for that price. I am a very happy customer. I'm hoping to get a custom guitar made for my 30th next year and you will be the first person I contact.
